We are Chukster Studio – a dynamic multinational team based in Copenhagen that helps brands tell their unique story. We create work that engages, and starts conversations. We specialise in designing and developing all aspects of a brand's presence, from identities to campaigns, packaging to photography, and advertising. Whether launching a new brand, or rethinking an existing one - working closely with our clients is at the core of our workflow. With the ability to communicate in multiple languages and a passion for different cultures, we understand how to design and market for a global audience. We share an interest in product, quality, and sustainability, in taking a stand and making a difference. Our creative approach is driven by curiosity and a passion for experimentation, for the humorous and the unexpected. We listen attentively and want to tell the stories that matter. Rebecca Meyer
Creative Director & Client Lead
A Swiss brand strategist and designer, who once described her style as “the aesthetic of a hormonal teenager paired with the conscientiousness and analytical skills of an elderly science professor”. Having worked for many years in the fast-paced and competitive video game industry, and with clients from diverse backgrounds, she knows how to find the right tone for each brand universe. Rebecca’s ultimate skills: bossing people around, talking about that book she is going to write one day, and laughing loudly!
Steven Hubbard
Creative Director & Client Lead
Steven, a former competitive wear and running shoe designer, brings a wealth of experience as a Creative Director for several international sports and tactical brands. His extensive knowledge of designing and marketing products to different consumer types allows him to adopt a comprehensive approach to the design process. More importantly, although Steven is British, he is actually a direct descendant of the viking King Ubba, son of Ragnar Lodbrok, and therefore the rightful heir to the throne of Denmark!
Petra Penlau
Visual Designer
Petra is a native of the great city of Copenhagen, so she is as local as they come. She perfectly embodies the youthful and vibrant spirit of the city, and in case of any doubt, each of her meals consists of rugbrød (together with whatever’s-in-the-fridge). Petra has truly excellent graphic design and layout skills, and, of course, an awesome Scandinavian design aesthetic.
Kaiu Meiner
Visual Designer
Say hi to Kaiu, our new visual designer who (in her own words) loves doing things in a way that no one has done before. Her design style is sharp, modern end edgy, and she brings just as much talent in storytelling and copy as she does in visual design. Born in Estonia, raised in Copenhagen, and having lived across England, Germany, and the Netherlands, Kaiu brings not only great experience but a global mindset – and that shows in everything she creates.
